Research on Technical Topics

• Finding the ‘Base Topic’ is one of the most important for topic research. In most of the cases, I choose based on the search demand. For example, if I want to affiliate funnel builder then my base topic will be sales funnel. It is expected to get the base topic by the content strategist.
• Another way to find a topic is by checking keywords demand! Google trends, ubersuggest type tools can help me in this case. We need to ensure that the keyword used in our content should matches with our brand. Finding Relevant Keywords

• Depending on the base topic, we need to identify the base keyword. Keyword

research is the most important part of this step. How the search volume, keyword difficulty, and competitor, we need to select the final base keyword. It can call the main keyword/ primary keyword too.

Planning for Content

• After that, we have to find out the secondary keywords. 2-3 secondary keywords are fine for a 1000-1200 words article.
• Once we have the primary and secondary keywords, we can move to the content planning step.
• Web and Video research – First and foremost part for content planning is to do web research and video research. We need to know what others are covering, what is gap and how we can be better than the others do. Video should be checked in recent days due to the growing popularity. And for the whole new content, we need to talk with the developer/strategist.
• Title – Title must be catchy and attractive. Anyone who will visit our site will click the read our title first. We can use power words to get better attraction. Also, people can understand the overall writing of text based our content topic.

• Structure making – During the research, I will take the notes and develop the structure. Mostly, I will work on the skeleton of the article.
• Media and resource making – I will also make the media by the designer. And keep resources for siting in the content.
• Write and on-words – in the last step, it’s time to write the SEO friendly content.
• Always use present tense in writing Technical Article: Furthermore, the use of words like “will” tends to lead to thinking and writing about what will be done. Conversely, when the article is written in the present tense, the language is clear and unambiguous
• Never write an article on a topic which you are not confident enough. Make sure you work out all steps and give fair amount of information to your readers. •
